About Your Presenters

Dr. Kaitlyn Smith

Physical Therapist and Pelvic Health Specialist

Dr. Kaitlyn received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Clarke University in 2018. Her interest in pelvic health started in response to recognizing the need for women to have more support around pelvic health conditions, and grew even more through her own pregnancy and postpartum journeys.

As a former cross country runner in high school and a postpartum mother herself, Dr. Kaitlyn has first-hand experience with the challenges of returning to running after childbirth. Her personal journey, coupled with her extensive education and experience in physical therapy, make her a knowledgeable and empathetic resource for postpartum runners looking to rebuild their strength, prevent injuries, and achieve their fitness goals.

Dr. Kaitlyn has an amazing skill set for addressing a multitude of pelvic health and orthopedic concerns. Additionally, Dr. Kaitlyn is certified in functional dry needling.

Josh Miller

Massage Therapist and Movement Specialist

Josh brings over 30 years of experience in Eastern movement practices like Taoism, yoga, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong to the gym.

A licensed massage therapist for 27 years and former Massage Therapy Director at Capri College, he combines his deep understanding of movement and body mechanics to help individuals optimize their training and minimize the risk of injury.

Josh developed the FLUID™ Running Method, leading workshops that incorporate Eastern principles for more efficient and pain-free movement in a fitness setting.
